lexi could still feel the light burn of the whiskey in her throat, why did she even agree to have a drink with him? she wasn’t buzzed, but the taste and all of the emotions she was feeling at the moment, made her want to drink a whole lot more. It’d help numb it all, wouldn’t it? she had managed to get away from him quick enough for him not to catch up and try to confront her about the information she had just dropped on him. she wasn’t ready to bump into him, but it was her, that walked off of his bus, wasn’t it? always being careful not to stay on that bus for too long, for fear of running into him, but the one time she actually slept over, was the time she did see him face to face. she had stumbled to his bus the night before, but to run into the arms and bed of will, but did she do it on purpose? She couldn’t have. She wouldn’t let herself believe it either.
She had several tears trailing down her face, but she stopped in front of her bus when she heard the television on inside. She couldn’t walk in like this, it wasn’t like her. Lexi didn’t cry, hell, she couldn’t even remember the last she cried. She wiped her face and waved air into her face, in hope that it would cover up the mini cry session she had just had. Her cheeks were probably pink and puffy, god, did she hate being pale sometimes. She waited a few seconds then took a breath, she just needed to either get to the back room of the bus or her bunk. She opened the door, it was unlocked as always, and got in, trying to add hop in her step. Greyson was comfy on the sofa watching a re-run of something, ”sup”, she said quickly and skipped passed him, almost tripping over his feet. Usually she said much more, hell, usually she would have hopped on his lap and watched the television with him, but not this time.
No one else seemed to be on the bus, except one of the crew members in their bunk. She rushed to the back hangout area, it wasn’t occupied. She sat down and pulled her cell out immediately, she needed to talk to Eli. She texted him quickly, ’come back to the bus please? I need to see you. I ran into toby’. She threw her cell to the side and buried her face into her hands, trying not to cry again. But if she was going to, she’d only be comfortable with eli seeing her in that state. It had been so long since she had been like this, but he was the one there at the time and he was the only one that knew every exact detail about her and toby’s history. If only he would hurry.

RUN BECAUSE THEY'RE CHASIN' ME DOWN !Sitting alone in a diner wasn't really anyone's idea of fun, but Eli was actually having a pretty good time with the silence. The place was mostly deserted, save a few employees and the elderly man across the aisle that had his head resting on the table. Get sleep where one could catch it, the musician supposed, keeping his eyes on the menu in front of him and his head slightly ducked. It wasn't as if there was really anyone in here, but he still didn't want to be recognized. When people recognized him, they got all touchy and poked him, wanted to hug him, tell him how his band's music had saved their lives, other things like that that honestly? He didn't really believe. Then again, he'd never had a reason to hate his life so much to think seriously about ending it. Sure, he'd thought about it before, but that was an angsty teenager kind of thing. What teenager didn't think about dramatically committing suicide just to show everyone around them what was up? That they could immensely fuck up someone else's life like that? Every teenager did at some point. That was just a fact of life. It was sort of a good feeling, though, when someone said something like that, that Alpha Bravo Charlie had saved them or something to that essence. Even if it wasn't true, it helped Eli feel like he was actually doing something to contribute to society instead of just making his own therapy and doing something he loved. The fans could make it feel like it actually held worth. Sometimes they were a bit... feely... and Eli knew that he complained about it too much (in his mind, at least), but he just didn't like people touching him. Not unless he knew them or he initiated it. In conclusion, even though the fans were great and they made him feel not so worthless, they were still... an iffy aspect of being a musician.
It was for that reason precisely that he currently had a dark pair of sunglasses on despite the fact that he was inside and the sun wasn't going to hurt his eyes in any way. It also might have been a contributing factor to why he wasn't leaving the diner yet even though he'd finished his food a while ago. A waitress had come over to ask if he was done and ready for the check, but he'd said no. She'd stood there for a few moments with a confounded look on her face, and neither of them said anything, Eli mainly staring at his menu like he had nothing better to do. Eventually she'd told him that he couldn't just sit there and not do anything, at which point he'd pulled his sunglasses down a little to give her one of his most convincing looks. music,, song by artistwords,, count it one two threetag you're it,, lexi! ^^lyrics,, i just wanna run by the downtown fiction.outfit,, can't be bothered. xDnotes,, um so yeah this is incomplete though it might be done by the time anyone actually looks here again sigh.
