Tobias was backstage; he’d done too many stupid things in the last few days and his head was spinning. First there was the whole thing with Sam and the sexual chemistry they obviously still had. Least she’d forgiven him anyway. Then there was the whole bumping in to Lexi thing; sure it had been great but it had also been awful. She’d stirred up so many feelings that he’d not realised he’d had. Then there was the whole thing that she was sleeping with one of his band mates. So needless to say, Toby’s head was screwed. He glanced down at his guitar and adjusted the tuning pegs a little before he strummed the strings of his baby. He plugged it in to his amp and started playing his solo piece.
Backstage was quite deserted, and so far he was the only one who was playing an instrument. He glanced around and smirked, kind of lost in what he was doing but suddenly his eyes fell upon the girl who’d turned him down so many months ago. He rolled his eyes and cranked up the complexity of his playing. He stared at her, and then shouted over to her. ”Hey Colt… can you do this?” He asked her obnoxiously, as he jumped in the air and began spinning around Pete Wentz style; while he played his guitar. He laughed as he spun, so focused and buzzed with adrenaline. The only negative part was, that Toby hadn’t seen that his foot had gotten caught in the wire attached to his amp. He felt a sharp pull, but by the time he’d realised what he was doing; it was too late. He felt a jerk in his leg and his balance started to falter.
Before he could do anything, he fell backwards, and over the amp; his guitar landing heavily on his face, while his ankle was twisted and sore. He yelled and struggled to stop his head from spinning. Warm blood trickled down his face; as he lifted the guitar from his face, and allowed it to settle on the floor next to him. He swore under his breath and lay there uncomfortably, as he tried to scramble to his feet.

Colt had found herself backstage today. She had to prepare for the show and she was always afraid she might mess up on stage. It didn't make that much sense to some. She was a quiet person in general, always keeping to herself, the fact that her social life wasn't through the roof was also kinda strange, considering she played in a pretty popular band. Colt blamed her mother for all of that and her father and her brothers kinda. Considering it was Colt's twin who kinda kept her closed off from society, afraid she'd get hurt again. That was pretty much the only entire reason why she didn't let herself make that many friends besides the band and everything.
Yawning and covering her mouth, the brunette picked up her guitar, holding it in her hands as she started to tune it, fixing the strings and grabbing the pack she had in her back pocket to replace them if she needed to. She probably would, Colt kept her guitar in perfect condition. She couldn't help it. She had to, she didn't want to lose the one piece of property she had that meant so much to her. It was her older brothers and she knew that letting it go and letting her use it was hard for him and she knew that. That's why she always took special care of the guitar.
She was busy, bent over the priceless instrument when she heard someone call her name. She looked up and stared at Tobias who was trying to show off. She didn't really care. Colt wasn't the type to show off even though Tobias seem to think that she did care. She turned her head away for a second till she heard a crash and saw the boy sprawled out on the floor. Blood running down his face. Colt put down the guitar and made her way over to him, assessing the damage with her eyes and sighing. "You shouldn't try to show off, this could happen." She told him, kneeling down next to him and holding out her hand.

Toby lay there his head sore and his body aching. He closed his eyes and sighed, knowing things hadn't obviously gone to plan. He could only hope his precious guitar was in tact. Of course if it wasn't he did have a back up but he always used the same one for practice. He hoped Colt hadn't heard or seen him. It was rather embarrassing and he'd didn't have a particularly good record with the brunette.
He tried to scramble to his feet but it just made things worse, almost as though he was like a tortoise on it's back. just as he was about to swear, Colt's beautiful face came into view. Oh great so she was going to be his knight in shining armor, when it was meant to be the other way round. "Yeah... But I can usually do it no problems." He sighed and took her hand as she offered it, it was warm and petite compared to his.
Toby smiled as he used her hand to help him sit up. He sat up and felt a little dizzy. His ankle hurt, and he tried to untie it from the wires. "Thanks." He offered as he pulled up the bottom of his jeans and pulled down his sock. "Aww shit." He complained looking at the obvious swelling and bruising of his sprained ankle. "This is going to screw my performance." He sighed, Tobias was known for doing reckless stunts during his performance.
He stood up, and it was harder than he thought, and the blood continued to drip from his head. He reached down and picked up his guitar, noticing the blue metallic frame was scratched. He sighed and looked at Colt, surely she'd be able to empathize with him. "Let's go get a drink or some food, or both." He suggested with a smirk, figuring she wouldn't be able to resist his battered self.
