august had never quite been able to forget about the people he had once loved. when he got attached to someone, it was for life. even if he did not see them for ten, twenty, thirty years or if he did not see them at all for the rest of his life, he would never be able to forget about them. there would always be a place for them in his heart, no matter what happened. he had never been able to really hold any grudges against anyone, being the laidback boy that he had always been. he did not think fighting with other people was ever worth it really. in the end, it always was for something really stupid. what was the point in getting really mad at someone that you truly loved because of something that was not going to change, that was not simply going to disappear? so, even if he had had a few fights with his numerous brothers and sisters when they had still lived together in their parents’ house, he had never really been mad at them. of course, at the time, it did not show. hell, he did not even know if he had forgave every one of them and had been forgiven by everyone of them. and that was really the only thing he regretted about his past life. he regretted the fact that he had lost so many people he had once loved. that definitely was his biggest fear, to lose someone that he loved while they still thought he was mad at them. it had happened, but he was not convinced he would ever be able to live through that again. so he had promised himself he would try his hardest not to get mad about just about anything. still, when he had left with his band to get famous since he thought that was what he wanted to do with his life, he had lost so many people such as his best friends and his little sister. and he hated it. he thought about them every single day, about all the great moments they had spent together and how much fun he would be having right at that moment if he had still been with them. however, there was nothing telling him that they still were there. they had most likely moved out of town to pursue their very own dreams. he missed those times when they would spend the night together, just fooling around and doing whatever the hell they wanted. he missed singing only to his little sister so she would go to bed and missed hugging her when she was scared and thought a monster was in her wardrobe. yes, august was definitely a nostalgic at heart. however, when he first saw december logging in on that chatbox everyone seemed to always be on, his heart had skipped a beat. he had missed home so much. he had been truly homesick, but there she came, remembering him of everything he had missed. she had also reminded him of everything he had felt for her in the past and that was not necessarily a good thing. you see, december had been one of his only girl friends along with dani back at home, but he had always had feelings for the girl. whenever he would hug her, or tickle her, or anything her, he’d feel as though he was in another world, a perfect world. he was softly carried away on a bed made out of beautiful clouds. yeah, very cliché, but that was exactly how he felt whenever he had been around december. he had loved her so much but hadn’t been able to admit his feelings to her. he had lost her to another one of his friends. he had lost his chance to be with her and, when he last saw her, she still had been with him. it had been one of the biggest things h regretted in his life. he thought he had lost his only chance to be with the only girl he had ever had such feelings for. so, of course, when he had been able to talk to her on the chat and when she had told him that she was also on the tour because she had started getting serious with her music, he could not believe it. this was his second chance. it was his time, the time he would finally be able to be with her. he would have to make sure no other boy approached her, however. but he planned on making sure of that. he was not going to let this chance escape his grasp just like the previous one had. he wanted to see her again, be able to hug her in his arms and probably not let her go until she noticed the hug had lasted a little too long for a normal friendly hug. but then again, it would be the first time they talked in what seemed to him like decades. thus, he was allowed to hug her a little longer than needed. he planned on attempting to find her around the location of the concert or most likely attempt to surprise her at her hotel. then again, he had no idea where she was staying or if she would even be there when he would go. how was he supposed to see her again, then? maybe he would not have the chance. maybe she would never log in on the chat again and he would not have the chance to see her. as he finished his soundchecks with the band for the concert that would be taking place later on that very same day, august was panicking. he tried not to let it show, however, because he knew that ryker and tobias, his band mates, and their manager, jac, would worry about it and ask him over and over again what was going on with him. he did not really think he was ready to answer any of their questions so he kept smiling and doing whatever he was told to do. all he wanted to do was to run right out of here and log on the chat so he could see if december was there. then he would probably run around all day long like a chicken without a head searching for her. desperate was the right word to qualify how he felt as of now. once the soundcheck ended, the young man rushed off of the stage, ignoring his name that was constantly called behind him by his mates. he did not have time to chit chat. he needed to go find her, right now. sure, he was overreacting, but seeing december again was really important to him. however, someone grabbed his arm and held him back. most likely his manager. she was the only one out of the three named before that had the strenght to stop him when he had decided that there was a place he needed to go. after the look she gave him, he decided to stay. it probably was the best decision to take if he wanted to have a bed to sleep in tonight. he never really did good sleeping on the floor or, even worse, on the cold ground outside of the bus. she had never forced him to do so. he had just been too drunk to climb on the bus that one night. august nervously ran a hand through his hair over and over again, so much that it made the people surrounding him notice that something was wrong and ask him what that something might have been. he did not answer precisely, simply saying that he had stuff going on and needed to go check on that. they finally released him and he sighed deeply, turning on his heels and making his way out. but he stopped suddenly once he finally looked up from his shoes, his eyes widening and his jaw dropping slightly. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - credit , to me tagged , miss december tuesday montgomery, aka callieeeeeeeeee. music , everything on my comp. outfit , clickers, bby.words , ONE THREE THREE NINE. notes , WE HAVE SO MANY THREADS TOGETHER. but i love them <3

THAT NIGHT WAS THE START OF ME FALLING FOR YOU
----- YOU'RE EVERYTHING THAT I ADORE !Some people had things they excelled at. Some people had things they really liked to do. December, on the other hand, was a jack of all trades. She had all kinds of things she liked to do, but she wasn't extremely successful at any of them... except for singing. The girl had a set of lungs on her, and you wouldn't really guess it from her small stature. It was, however, what had kick-started her musical career. She'd also been playing an instrument or two at the time, because, well, the music just didn't sound as good without instruments. Besides, she lost some confidence if she didn't have instruments around to back to back her up -- it was just how she was. Maybe that was what had gotten her a deal in the first place -- her talents with multiple instruments. Who even knew? All she knew was that she got to do something she loved for a living, and some people weren't as lucky. That didn't mean it was all sunshine and roses, though. Sometimes the fans were a little too crazy, even for her (it wasn't often that you ended up with some guy's boxers with a note proposing to you taped on them), and she still felt a little awkward when it came to interviews, and of course she couldn't please everybody when it came to her songs, especially since she usually tried writing for herself rather than everyone else. If she'd tried writing for her fans, she was setting herself up to fail. It wasn't easy to write about what other people wanted you to, because while they knew what it was all about, you didn't have the slightest clue, and if you didn't know what you were talking about, then the song wouldn't turn out half as good as it did if you wrote what you knew.
Enough about that, though. She had a show to go to. Granted, she wasn't up for another couple hours, but she liked watching the other bands. A lot of them were bands she'd even looked up to for a while, bands she loved, listened to, got inspiration from. And then... there was Live Tonight. December listened to them, she liked them -- they were probably even one of her favorites on the tour, but she might be a little biased. The lead singer of said band was August Blaine, her friend from when she was younger. He'd been Denver's friend first, but they grew apart a little as time went on, and instead, August and December grew closer. So close, actually, that the two were best friends. Well, technically, the three -- there was Dani, too, and she was also December's best friend. As everyone knows, though, a boy and a girl simply can't be just best friends, and the two sometimes even got mistaken for a couple... not that December would have minded. For the longest time, she'd had a crush on August. Who wouldn't? He was charming, sweet, fun to hang around with, and he got jokes as well as played along with them. What wasn't there to like? And she certainly wasn't the only one. There was a fair share of girls in their class that were plenty interested in him. At some point, a mutual friend of the two, Isaac, asked December out. It was just a date. Harmless, right? Why shouldn't she try it? Isaac was a nice guy, and he was cute, too. Well, that date turned into more dates, and, over time, Isaac and December had the official status of boyfriend and girlfriend. The redhead felt just a little guilty -- despite dating his friend, she still liked August, and for some reason, the crush would not go away. So she just let it be, never acting on it, because that was what she did; she stayed quiet about those kinds of things. Isaac, however, was like most teenage boys, and he wanted more than December was willing to give. He wasn't thrilled when she said no, so he tried again. Since he didn't seem to be getting the point, December broke things off with him. A few months after that, she took her leave and headed off to Los Angeles with her friend, Penelope, one of the only girl friends she had that wasn't Dani. That was when she was seventeen, and she didn't return home after that.
She hadn't, of course, forgotten about what she had back home. She'd left a lot of things behind. She'd left August, left Dani, left a lot of her other friends, she'd left her too-oblivious mother, her well-informed brother -- bits and pieces of her heart. December had left things like that for a long time, and now she was here, on tour, and she'd found Dani, who had a musical career of her own, and it had been just like the old days. They'd already hung around a bit -- they ate Peeps, played some video games, and acted obnoxious at the mall. Neither of them had really grown up much since they were teenagers, and it was a relief. And just recently, she had realized that none other than August Blaine -- her August Blaine, though she couldn't really call him hers -- was on tour, as well. She'd listened to Live Tonight before, but she'd never really bothered to learn about their members. As it turned out, he was the lead singer of Live Tonight and she'd just never known it because she hadn't heard the boy sing before. And now it was almost as if she was going to be partially whole again for this tour -- or that the metaphorical bits and pieces of her heart would be covered up with duct tape for it, at the very least. She had her best friends back. How could things get any better? Well, of course, they could always be better... There were, for example, certain things she still did that she wasn't proud of, that she knew were wrong, but she couldn't just stop. December knew she should seek help, but she didn't want anyone to know, and she didn't plan on telling... so no one knew. There were a lot of things about her that no one knew, things no one ever thought to ask in interviews.
Shaking her head to herself, December navigated her way towards the venue, wondering who was up at about this time. She planned on investigating backstage first, anyways -- she wanted to see if anyone she knew was hanging around. It was likely, since she'd met a lot of musicians since the tour had begun. She loved it, too. So many of them were in bands that she loved to listen to, and you'd best believe she'd gotten her fair share of autographs from her co-workers already. Especially Neon Lover. She'd practically stalked them, which she felt a little bad for, but hey, it wasn't her fault they made such great music. To be honest, the girl knew a lot of the bands on tour, and she'd at least heard of the ones she didn't listen to. This was, all in all, pretty much a dream come true for her. She was surrounded by music almost all hours of the day, and music was always there when nothing else was. If she couldn't talk to Penelope or her fiancee about something, she just listened to music. It was her saving grace, in a way. She'd probably have done even more things she regretted if it weren't for music. Maybe back home, she'd have lost her temper. She had the rights to. Denver had taken care of it for her, but she certainly had the rights. Maybe she'd even be dead, but she didn't want to think about that. There were still some days she came so close --
No. She wasn't going to think about it, and that was that. Suddenly, though, it became very easy not to think about because there was a very familiar face exiting the venue. A very familiar, very pretty face. And it was followed by a tall body that she also knew very well. What a coincidence. It wasn't like she'd been looking for him or anything. Okay, admittedly, she hadn't been, but somewhere in the back of her mind, she'd been hoping to see him around, and now that he was here, she felt a little tongue-tied. To fix it, she pretended to tip a hat to him and proceeded to shoot him a totally cheesy grin. "Howdy, partner." Really? Years of not having seen him in person and that was what she came up with? Well, that was embarrassing. December decided to ignore it, and instead she ran straight to him and threw her arms around him, as high up as she could possibly reach. She didn't need any words in the first place. music;; born for this - paramore. tag;; auggie!/annie. <3 words;; 1,488. outfit;; click. lyrics;; this is love (i'm yours now) - annasay. notes;; well, that was crappy. x.x i'm going to blame it on the fact that i'm trying to get used to her and leave it at that. xD
