[/b] It's ironic, because Matt's middle name Innokenti actually stands for innocent. He was named Matthew 'Innocent heart' by his parents, yet the guy is never seen sober. He's always drunk. And it's not to fill the void of some tragic past, no, he just thrives off the buzz it gives him. Furthermore, the best thing about drinking is that he truly doesn't give a damn when he's drunk. Nothing matters to him. He'd gone out on stage drunk several times before. His drumming obviously isn't his best when he's like that but he can definitely wing it. He's pushed fans away when they've wanted autographs before, showing that he can be a very rude guy. He's far more likely to tell a fan to f'ck off than sigh an autograph. He hates having fans follow him like bees, he tells them to get a life.

He doesn't get on with any of his band members, he thinks they all suck and he tells them that. But he still does his drumming and gets on with it. Because deep down he'd hate it if the band split up, his natural aggression just comes out too much to say it. He's nasty to everyone, even his girlfriend and even his parents. He stays in the band because he's tired of being called a failure by his parents. He would rather be in a successful band so he could stick a finger up at them and say 'this is what i'm doing with my life'.

He's also got an addiction problem. He's not dealing with it, he's not battling with it. He happily lets his body soak up the weed. He's a terrible man to be around when he's high, he almost self harms. At every venue the band plays, he has a dealer in town or nearby town to get another fix. He'll happily walk out an hour before a concert to get some, which annoys the band. The after-show parties he's often not there because he's too busy throwing up or sitting in his room staring at the ceiling. And then when he does go, he drinks, which starts the cycle all over again.

Gianna attributed many things as possible reasons for her coldness. She could've been busy writing a diary, busy contemplating, maybe even just enjoying the air. So Gianna ruled out speaking to the young vampire again. Drafting a new plan to mind her own business, Gianna simply laid down against the grass of the meadow. The stars winking at her, it made her feel relaxed. It wasn't Gianna's problem that some people couldn't see when good people were trying to be friendly. She resolved to think of it no more, especially as the girl called herself fine. What better could you expect of that?

Gianna pulled down her skirt a little more and adjusted her hair, hoping that grass stains wouldn't show. Her mascara-filled eyes watched the night and it made her drowsy. The lids of her eyes flickered and then pulled up suddenly. She was never off her guard for too long. A few minutes closing of the eyes was all a vampire needed to remove your existence. She knew this all too well.

Her amber eyes were almost like a nightlight. She could see the glow of them reflected against her arm as she checked her watch. It never used to do that when her eyes were red. In fact, it overall wasn't a great look. The only time it seemed glamourous was with Nathaniel but maybe she'd been drugged by love.
